Preston Butts Jr.
Preston Butts Jr., the founder and CEO of MEM10 Consulting, is a native Memphian with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Lyon College. An entrepreneur at heart, he has been involved in various ventures and continues to seek fresh new opportunities.
Preston has a passion for helping others reach their highest potential professionally as well as personally. He has worked with numerous organizations along with professional athletes, coaches and front office personnel. Through business and philanthropic efforts, he has been able to leverage his platform and influence in the business community to help businesses of all sizes grow and structure mutually beneficial partnerships to generate long term success. By using skills he has acquired over the past ten years, Preston has been able to change the direction, mindset, and focus of multiple businesses ranging from those in infancy to those well established.
Aside from his business acumen, Preston is committed to giving back to the community. He serves as a mentor to young adults and is always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Currently, Preston also sits on the board of Memphis Athletic Ministries (MAM) and supports various causes and charities throughout the city.
Preston resides in Memphis, Tennessee with his wife Jacqueline and their two children. He is on the leadership team at Highpoint Church and serves as the Executive Director of Development and is part owner of the restaurant BOGARD. In his spare time, he enjoys basketball, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Jay Lawler was born and raised in Marion, Illinois and is the second oldest of 6 boys. He graduated from the The University of Mississippi in 1998 where he met his wife Becky. He worked for 3 summers during college for the Varsity Internship Program, a subsidiary of Thomas Nelson Publishers out of Nashville, TN while at Ole Miss.
Jay began his career with Tom James in 1999. Tom James Company is was founded in 1966 in Nashville, TN. Today, it is the largest manufacturer and retailer of custom made clothing with offices in over 110 cities, 7 countries, and 3400 employees worldwide. Jay works directly with his clients by going directly to their home or office while providing the finest custom made clothing and casual gear for any occasion. Jay is currently Branch Manager of Tom James of Memphis and is also responsible for the hiring and training of the new salespeople. His younger brother Danny is a partner with him at Tom James of Memphis and younger brother Ben runs the Tom James of St. Louis office.
Jay resides in East Memphis with his wife Becky, and their 3 children. He and Becky are very involved in Holy Rosary Church where he coaches his children's sporting events and is a Dave Ramsey Instructor. He is also involved in the Ole Miss Alumni Association where he speaks to classes in Oxford and Southaven, The American Diabetes Association, and The Boys and Girls Club.
Helping men who have had some obstacles in their life still make a great first impression is very close to his heart. With many of the challenges people have these days, he wants to at least help them feel confident in how they look when trying to put their best foot forward.
Will Moore is a Certified Financial Planner and partner with Memphis based Atkins Capital Management, LLC.
Will graduated from Lambuth University in Jackson, Tennessee in 1999 and spent the next seven years with Morgan Stanley as a member of the Wealth Advisor team, The Atkins Group. Here he earned is CFP® designated and worked as a registered representative with the NYSE and NASD. In December of 2006, The Atkins Group separated from Morgan Stanley to form the independent investment firm, Atkins Capital Management, LLC.
As a civic leader in Memphis, Will serves on the Public Engagement Committee for Shelby Farms Park Conservancy and is on the Board of Trustees for the Gifted Education Foundation. He also served as the co-chair of the Finance Committee for Christ Methodist Day School and worked with the City of Memphis by serving on the Strategic Business Model Assessment Committee. Will is a member of the 2006 class of the The Leadership Academy Fellows and a 2007 graduate of Downline Institute.
Will and his wife, Katrina, have two children. He is an avid reader and a youth football coach who enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family.
For more than 15 years, Jay has served the Memphis market as advisor and consultant at Dixon Hughes Goodman. Jay began his career as an auditor with an international accounting and advisory firm, providing assurance services to publicly traded, multinational companies.
After six years as an audit manager, Jay transitioned into a director role with one of the nation’s largest executive recruitment and strategic staffing firms. Human resource professionals and hiring managers engaged him to evaluate the depth and effectiveness of their organizational structure, identify resource gaps, and to recruit top talent for key management positions.
At Dixon Hughes Goodman, Jay matches the needs of prospective and existing clients to the experience of DHG's partners and professional staff. He works closely with the accounting industry and service line leaders to ensure that DHG provides relevant, timely advice to their clients. Jay is also responsible for branding, marketing, and experienced-hire recruiting within DHG’s Memphis and Ft. Worth, Texas markets.
Jay is co-founder of Memphis Economic Indicator and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. His extensive community service includes serving as treasurer for Carnival Memphis and on the boards of the Memphis Chapter of the Tennessee Society of CPAs, Emerge Memphis, and Greater Memphis Chamber Sound Check.
Justin is an attorney and founder of the Thomas Family Law Firm, PLC. Justin has extensive experience handling family law matters in Tennessee and Mississippi and his practice focuses exclusively on family law. He is both a published author and graduate of the prestigious ABA Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute in Denver, Colorado.
Licensed in both Tennessee and Mississippi, Justin is a member of the Memphis Bar Association Family Law Section, the Desoto County Bar Association, the Mississippi Bar Association Family Law Section and American Bar Association Family Law Section. He is often sought out by local media to discuss hot topic family law issues.
Justin resides in Germantown with his wife, Chrissy, and their two children. Justin and Chrissy are active in the community and at Central Church. Justin is on the board of directors of the University of Memphis M-Club and also works with the Leadership Empowerment Center in Frayser.
