Self-awareness gives us a sense of power, peace and prosperity. As we practice we become more confident with these newly found strengths. They begin to spread throughout our lives and strengthen every activity, every relationship. They change how we perform our responsibilities and how effectively we interact with others.

Without self-awareness we are unable to realize our true self both internally and with the people in our lives. And if we hold a position of leadership this can have a devastating effect. We begin to doubt the quality of our work causing the people we lead and interact with to question our competence. This will ultimately lead to a significant lack of leadership effectiveness.

The power of self-awareness must not be underestimated. A clear understanding of who we are is the foundation for all aspects of our personal and professional lives. And coupled with the ability to communicate accurately, it forms the basis of self-awareness and the ability to be receptive to positive change.
